Placed in the rumour category, Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacture in India, is all set about bringing Suzuki Cervo into existence in 2025. Placing it under the miniature hatchback definition, some rumours stated that the car might replace Maruti Alto or at least share the showroom shelf with this legendary pioneer one among the entry-level segment. It is supposed to be launched around ₹2.80 lakh, which would help Cervo sustain its competition with modern-day features and efficiencies offered by Tata Tiago and Renault Kwid.
New Maruti Suzuki Cervo Car Engine
Suzuki Cervo 2025 will probably come with a 658cc, three-cylinder petrol engine tuned for city conditions, churning out a maximum power/potential of 54 PS and torque of 63 Nm. Some sources also talk about a 1.0L K-Series petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech for aiding in acceleration and fuel saving. Transmission options would probably be the 5-speed manual and Auto Gear Shift (AGS) compatible with city use. And in line with the engine, the Cervo will also comply with emissions as per BS6 Phase 2 norms.

Price of New Maruti Suzuki Cervo Car
The prices start at Rs 2.80 Lakh-the showroom, rising to Rs 4.5 Lakh for the top-end variants. Such aggressive pricing has ensured that the pricing of Cervo has remained below that of the Alto K10 (Rs 3.99 Lakh to Rs 5.96 lakh), thus making it a viable option for first-time buyers and small-family owners. On-road prices could add another Rs 50,000 to 70,000, keeping in view charges for registration, insurance, and so forth. Hence, making it quite feasible for an Indian is retaining the wider dealership network and the plethora of financing options, including EMI plans beginning at Rs 6,500.
New Maruti Suzuki Cervo Car Mileage
Fuel mileage has been the motive behind marketing old cars, and so it is with this one; it is said to give anywhere between 26 to 40 km/l of mileage (ARAI-certified) based on the driving conditions and engine configurations. The 658-cc engine is, in fact, tuned more for city-like conditions, which means 22-24 kmpl under real traffic conditions inside the city, whereas hybrid variants would push those figures nearer to 30 kmpl. In the face of all the gargantuan increases in fuel prices. Green-minded folks and more cost-conscious type would really go for it.
