New prototypes have been recently spotted on test mules on Indian soil for the Maruti Baleno facelift for 2025, very much ensuring that the company will indeed put the vehicle in sometime by mid-2025. Multiple sources widely considered to be credible say that the interior will get a major overhaul with:
- Floating 9-inch HD touchscreen featuring something called SmartPlay Pro+; wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.
- Digital instrument cluster (maybe 7-inch or full display on higher trims)
- Head-up display, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats on higher variants.
Communication will see a big upgrade with Suzuki Connect platform offering 40+ smart features such as live vehicle tracking, remote control of climate, and geo-fencing.
Maruti Baleno 2025 Car Powertrain
In all likelihood, the 1.2-litre K12 DualJet petrol engine would continue with about 90 PS and about 113 Nm torque, having as options for transmission, manual, CVT, and AMT.
Excitingly, there are now rumors that the BoosterJet turbo petrol (~110 PS, ~160 Nm) could be back alongside the mild hybrid system being proposed to offer better fuel-efficiency (~23–24km/l) and lower emissions.
Safety & ADAS For Maruti Baleno 2025 Car
Six airbags will become standard across all variants as declared earlier for the Baleno and several others that could drive up the ex-showroom pricing.
ADAS features that could also begin creeping into the top-end trims include autonomous emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. It will mark a giant development for hatchbacks being sold in this segment.
The structure while still being based on the HEARTECT platform, has design tweaks on high tensile steel to offer improved crash protection. Presently, Baleno holds the 4-star Adult Occupant rating as per Bharat NCAP.
Prices Of The Maruti Baleno 2025 Car
The marquee Baleno facelift might be launched between March-June 2025, with prices commencing at about ₹7-8 lakh ex-showroom and Higher spec, ultra-luxurious hybrid variants going up to about 12-13 lakh.
