In terms of design language, the 2025 XUV700 sees few minor yet impactful changes. The Ebony Edition launched in March 2025 went all-black, featuring Napoli Black paint, black roof rails, and handsome black alloys. Next, there is a chrome highlight on the grille, and the headlamps come to sharper margins: C-shaped DRLs that give a very aggressive stance. It houses a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol mStallion engine churning 200 bhp and 380 Nm torque, with two diesels-a pair of 2.2 L 4-cylinder mHawk engines thrusting 185 bhp and 420 Nm or 155 bhp with 360 Nm of torque. These engines could be connected to a six-speed manual or auto gearbox, with a fulltime AWD option in the diesel-auto layout. Highway handling by its stability came almost with experienced power with a hint of body roll while cornering. Mileage is said to range between 13-16kmpl, which is supported by a large fuel tank capacity of 60 liters.

The feature comprises seven airbags, Level 2 ADAS (lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection), and a 360-degree camera for utmost safety. Pricing, on the other hand, starts at ₹14.49 lakh for an MX 7-seater and stretches all the way up to ₹25.14 lakh for an AX7L Ebony Edition (ex-showroom).
