Variant Just Before Launch!
Some reports have it that Hero MotoCorp is working on a new variant of Xtreme 125R. Being tested through cosmetic changes, i.e., new dual-tone colour combinations, new graphics, and bodywork alterations. A particularly interesting point is that Hero may really want to price this one below ₹1.5 lakh, making it an unbeatable proposition for a sporty 125cc.

True to its name, the Xtreme 125R has underpinnings of an air-cooled 124.7cc single-cylinder motor generating a power output of about 11.5 bhp @ 8,000 rpm and around ~10.5-10.6 Nm torque, mated to a 5-speed gear. The bike sprints from 0-60 km/hr in about 5.9 seconds showing the extent to which the company has packed power into this bike, which is termed SPRINT Technology. Features Of Hero Xtreme 125 R
While the variant will carry Hero’s unique front single-channel ABS (optional for the higher trim level), the base model will bear the IBS. The higher-visibility and styling advantage will come from full LED lighting comprising projector LED headlight with X-dimensioned DRLs, LED tail lamp, and indicators.
The cockpit will feature a fully digital instrument console showing speed, tachometer, gear position, service reminder, trip meters, and fuel, with Bluetooth call/SMS alerts and ride telemetry support for the highest variant. Additionally, it will offer USB charging, side-stand-off, and hazard lights for convenience.
