Bajaj Auto is entering the performance segment under the canvas of the highly-awaited Pulsar RS400, recently spied on the roads in India. With such camouflaging, one can guess that the company is indeed preparing the most powerful Pulsar till date for those who really do sportbike styling, high-performance handling on a pure cheap price.
Bajaj Pulsar RS400 Engine & Performance
Though still a secret, rumors are rife the RS400 is to have a 373-cc single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling taken from the Dominar 400. It is said that the engine produces power of approximately 40 PS and torque of 35 Nm with a 6-speed gearbox interfaced with a slipper clutch.
The combo needs to give instant acceleration, high-speed cruising, and super smooth engine feel, making it a complete package for the enthusiast. ABS with dual channels, ride-by-wire, and maybe multiple riding modes may also be included but are just speculations as of now.
